Eva Longoria will become a „desperate housewife“ in real life when she marries beau Tony Parker this July.

The couple have finally set a wedding date and have chosen the 7th of July to say ‚I Do‘.

As for why they are waiting till the seventh, well it seems that Longoria and her basketballer beau believe that their wedding day, 07-07-07, is a lucky number for them.

„Tony is extremely superstitious and thinks that 07-07-07 is the day most lucky to get married on,“ Us Weekly quoted a source, as saying.

The wedding will take place at the Chateau de Chantilly in Parker’s native France, and Longoria, will be travelling there in February with her event planner Mindy Weiss to finalize details for the reception.

However, Longoria’s rep told the mag that the actress was still working out the details.

„She’s still working out the details. Nothing is confirmed,“ the rep said.

Longoria and Parker announced their engagement late last year, two months after briefly splitting up.
