Abrams will executive produce alongside Jerry Weintraub and Bad Robot’s Bryan Burk, with Person of Interest’s Jonathan Nolan attached to co-write, EP and direct the pilot. Lisa Joy will join him as a co-writer and EP, while Kathy Lingg and Athena Wickham are on board as a co-executive producer and producer, respectively. The drama is being produced by Bad Robot Productions, Jerry Weintraub Productions and Kilter Films in association with Warner Bros.

Mal gucken.

14. Juli 2014 um 21:29 Uhr #487783StampedeMitgliedWhat is the progress of Westworld, and how similar will it be to the film?
LOMBARDO: We hope that we’re going to start shooting this summer. We’re casting right now, and announcements will come out when those deals happen. It’s similar to the film, only in construct. Obviously, it takes place sometime in the unspecified future, in an amusement park populated by robots. Beyond that, it’s its own thing. The script is one of the more exciting scripts we’ve read, in a very, very long time. Tonally, it’s very different. At the same time, it has some of the basic elements that make the idea of it really exciting.

22. Juli 2014 um 21:49 Uhr #487998StampedeMitgliedAccording to Film Divider, roles have been offered to Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, and James Marsden for the leads in the film. Hopkins would play Dr. Ford, the creator of Westworld and the robots that inhabit the amusement park. Much like Richard Attenborough’s John Hammond from JURASSIC PARK, Ford’s creations go haywire and begin killing guests of the park. Wood would play Doloroes Abernathy, a farm girl who doesn’t realize she is a robot sex slave. Marsden would portray Teddy Flood, a Western cowboy who is also in love with Dolores.
Hopkins wäre natürlich der absolute Kracher
