Game of Thrones fans will finally get to meet Euron Greyjoy. According to Game of Thrones superblog Watchers on the Wall, Borgen star and Danish actor Pilou Asbæk has reportedly been cast as Theon and Yara’s charismatic uncle for the fantasy drama’s upcoming sixth season.

the show has now added Richard E. Grant to the cast. Like McShane, there are currently no details on Grant’s role, and it’s possible that the character has yet to appear in the books since the show has pretty much used up all of George R.R. Martin’s novels.
Australian actress Essie Davis, who gave a fantastic performance in the horror hit The Babadook, has signed on for a role in the upcoming season. Davis will be playing an actress who stars in a play called The Bloody Hand, which is meant to reflect the world of Westeros. And this being a fact-based play and all, Davis gets the juicy role of playing a version of Cersei Lannister—though one imagines the real Cersei won’t be too happy about that.

James Faulkner (Downton Abbey, DaVinci’s Demons), Samantha Spiro (London Spy) and Rebecca Benson (Shetland) have joined the cast for the upcoming sixth season of HBO’s Game Of Thrones. Faulkner will play Randyll Tarly, Samwell’s dad; Spiro is Melessa Tarly, Samwell’s mother; and Benson plays Talla Tarly, Samwell’s sister.
Robert Aramayo has landed back to back roles on television and film. First up, he’s booked a still-secret role on the next season of HBO’s Game of Thrones.
