In a new interview with Comic Book Resources, director David Nutter has confirmed that he will be returning to helm two episodes for the fifth season of Game of Thrones.
16. Juni 2014 um 15:10 Uhr #487250AnonymGastEven though the show probably won’t return until April 2015, we’re already eager to know what happens next. Unsurprisingly, Benioff and Weiss are tight-lipped, but Deadline reports:
The two do hint on future alliances and outcomes when they say that the boat carrying Dinklage’s Tyrion from King’s Landing is heading “east.” As followers of the books and the series know, east of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, which Tyrion was fleeing and across the Narrow Sea is Essos. To get really insider, in Martin’s Dances With Dragons book, the now banished Jorah Mormont character meets up with Tyrion and hopes to use him get back in favor with the dragon controlling Daenerys Targaryen, who is still learning to be a Queen unto herself.16. 21. September 2014 um 10:43 Uhr #489099AnonymGastWell, Charles Dance told MTV UK during a press tour for the Universal feature Dracula Untold, “I’m not completely missing out on the next series. More than that, I’m not going to say. You haven’t seen the last of Tywin Lannister, is all I’ll say.”
Fan speculation has swirled around the net in terms of what this exactly means, from Tywin’s corpse making a cameo to the character appearing in flashbacks triggered by Maggy the Frog, a fortune teller who is integral to Tywin’s daughter, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), as told in the GoT book A Feast For Crows.

16. Oktober 2014 um 18:56 Uhr #489708StampedeMitgliedThe HBO fantasy hit has long avoided using narrative flashbacks during its first four years on the air, preferring to keep its action grounded in the show’s present moment. But Thrones will offer its first flashback scene next year, and EW can exclusively report the flashback is currently expected to serve as the season’s opening scene (though this could change in editing).
