Ne, das ist nix für ne Serie. Derart aufplustern kann man die Handlung nun nicht und die Gefahr ist einfach zu groß, daß man den Plot mit unwichtigem Zeug vollstopft. Die Grundidee ist zu gut um daraus TWD-Season 2-Reloaded zu machen.
Ich prophezeie, daß das in die Hose geht.

Wie weit bist du denn beim Hörbuch? Denn ich finde, das Buch selber (also Teil 1 jetzt) ist auch ganz schön in die Länge gezogen Bis die Epidemie so richtig ausbricht vergeht etliches an Zeit (fast das ganze Buch) Eine Staffel mit 13 Folgen :p
Naja, mal schauen. Ich bin auf jeden Fall gespannt drauf, wie man das umsetzen wird #hallo#

we’re prepping the pilot of The Strain. We’re shooting all of September. We showed Fox the art, we turned in the pilot, we’re casting, we’re building an effects/makeup company in Canada to basically articulate, sculptors coming from everywhere because I want use practical stuff. We’re taking all the steps and we’re shooting very soon. The idea is to shoot in the fall, winter, spring—shoot the whole first season.

How graphic will The Strain be?

LANDGRAF: It’s pretty graphic. It’s a horror show. I think you can expect content commensurate with The Walking Dead or American Horror Story.

With a trilogy of books completing that story, will you continue the series beyond that?

LANDGRAF: No. It’s a trilogy, and the trilogy ends the story. It’s a truly epic story. And when Guillermo [del Toro] came in to sell it, one of the things they made clear is that they wanted to tell the story of the books. That story would be told over three, four or five seasons. They have work to do, in terms of figuring out how they are going to resituate that story, in an episodic television series, but it will be somewhere between 39 and 65 episodes. No less and no more, and I’m really excited about that.
